Through the communicative approach and a wide range of teaching material ranging from textbooks, audio books, literature, newspaper and magazine articles, you will learn everyday Italian, important information about contemporary social and cultural life in Italy, and a new way to express yourself. The focus is on individuals and small groups to accommodate for students’ learning styles, preferences and interests. In an informal and relaxed setting, you will drive your own learning and growth in proficiency.

ABOUT ME

Francesca Giambartolomei is a native Italian speaker and experienced Italian language instructor.  She was born in Cremona Italy but later moved to Padova for her undergraduate studies at the University of Padova. Subsequently she moved to the United States and obtained a master’s degree from Eastern Michigan University. Francesca has taught Italian through various language institutes and community colleges for over 20 years. She is passionate about her country and culture and visits annually to see family and friends in Ancona, Padova, Firenze and Roma. Francesca is a member of non-profit organizations in Seattle: Dante Alighieri Society and Il Punto – Italian Cultural Center.
